After some google searching and specific searching on this forum, I have been unable to find any significant information regarding co-op notes, especially for osteopathic med schools.

To all the med students out there - My questions are:

  • Do they exist?
  • Do schools provide note taking service?
  • Do students create a note taking service in the absence of a school sponsored one?
  • Are these notes digital or hard copy (thick stack of papers)?
  • Is there any way to acquire these notes to get an idea of the type of material I will be exposed to and to give myself a heads up?

Much thanks,

TG13 😀

My school has a scribe service and it's student run. It's all online and you have to print them yourself if you wish.

We get lecture notes, ppt presentations, and lecture recordings. All are online for us, and the notes are handed out in packets at the beginning of class as well.

We have a student run note service here at LECOM. I don't use it because I didn't wanna look through more notes than I already had for each lecture. You only have so much time to study and can use only so many study aids. It cost money for the year and the notes are printed off and put in your locker every morning before class
