TMCA family medicine in CO. Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the rumored sexual harrassment complaints about the PD? It is a huge red flag and nobody wants to talk about it which makes it even more concerning. Will someone clarify here in a more anonymous setting? Are women safe there?

You have made a similar post before without getting answers in the message board . If you have doubts don’t choose this program

My other post went to the wrong forum by mistake, that is why it was posted twice.

I wish it were as easy as just taking them off the list. Matching FM is easy, but getting into a decent FM program in Denver when you don't go to med school there takes some work. This program checks a lot of my boxes and I would love to keep it on my list due to that. But safety is important. Sometimes silence also speaks volumes.

Maybe check the name and shame page/doc for FM.

My theory is that if you hear about it, it's probably true. It's crazy the stuff that gets swept under the rug because the victims are afraid to speak out (at least things I know of some programs near me)

I hear you on location, and it sucks. I'm dealing with a similar situation myself; my #1 program is going to completely drop off my list now because of ethical concerns. But I personally am not willing to take that risk.

The problem is that if the program was solid, and people were allowed to speak out, there probably wouldn't be bad behavior to speak out about. If the program is bad, and there's bad behavior, the PD and whoever will also threaten the residents.

I hope somebody gives you an answer. But if I was a resident there, I'd just keep my head down and try to graduate. I assume that's what they're doing.
