Co-resident breaking Moonlighting Rules. What should I do?

Thanks for all the response. But lets throw in a plot twist. What if I told you that im actually the one moonlighting during week days and not my co-resident and that I just mentioned this scenario to gauge how most doctors feel about this issue without having to risk telling any of the other residents in my program?....Or it can be the former scenario. We will never know. Thanks everyone 🙂

Some things in medicine are unavoidable, like overworking, July 1st interns and making mistakes.
All of the arguments that people are making above, if extrapolated, can apply to “Let’s not have any duty hours” unless someone makes a mistake.
I am not advocating telling on the resident. Just an anonymous harmless reminder. Many of us have been arrogant, overconfident and invincible in residency, surviving on energy drinks, caffeine and 4 hour sleep( I’ve done that). Not a good idea if you ask me!
