i need a lesson in tact.

i'm interviewing at kirskville on 1/16 or 1/23- "it's an honor just to me nominated"

i've also applied to UHS (about 3hrs away from Kirks but still a hell of a lot closer that NY).

should i let UHS know that i'm in town (i havent heard anything from them since i received a postcard from them a couple of weeks ago telling me my app is complete)?
can i go furter and ask them if they're considering me for an int that i'd like one when in MO anyway?

your advise is much appreciated.

It worked for me in a different way. I was invited to KCOM and also applied to Saint Louis University. I called SLU and told them I would be in town and they called me back a day later and said I had been invited for an interview the day after my KCOM interview. I would try it and see where it takes you. If you can cut down on traveling costs it will save you tons of money.
