Are there any benefits to the "new" Colcrys product? What do you do for the patient without insurance?

Tell them to buy it from Canada.

$0.17 a pop if you buy in bulk.

.......

Or if you're not into technically breaking the law...

Colcrys also has a pretty generous patient assistance program they could look into. too.

the Colcrys people called our pharmacy today. they told us all the generic stuff will be pulled off the market soon. and that there is no approved generics out there anymore. and then threatened us that we can be in trouble if we dispense any generic products after a certain date... its the same fda crap as when all the quinine products or all the pancrelipase products got yanked...

No, you can dispense it until it is exhausted. Drug reps are, by and large, complete idiots.
