The Washington Post has an article on the treatment, known as "cold" laser therapy or low-level laser therapy (LLLT), which is used to treat soft tissue injuries, cervical neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive stress injuries, tendinitis, hamstring injuries, and arthritis. It mentions that the treatment is used by practitioners of Sport Medicine. Do any physiatrists learn this procedure for muskuloskeletal injuries?

After reading this article, especially how the Patriot's therapist used it to 'release' fascia or something, it sounds like something that therapists or osteopaths especially would use as an adjunct to PT or OM.

I think personally, the time spent using it would be better spent EMG-ing, injecting, etc.
