In high school, I took Mandarin language classes at a community college to satisfy high school requirements for foreign language. On my transcript at the 4 year university that I recently graduated at shows that I have credits for the mandarin classes. My first question is whether I need to include the transcript of the community college to my AADSAS application. Also, I didn't do well in one of the mandarin classes in high school and was wondering whether AADSAS will include the grades from the community college even though I took these courses in high school for high school foreign language requirements? It would really suck to have a gpa drop because of a cc class that I took as a freshman in high school..

Thank you for your help.

Yes, you have to submit the transcripts if you received college credit. And yes, it will be calculated into your GPA. I had a similar situation (I got a C in a community college class when I dual enrolled in high school) and it was calculated into my AADSAS GPA, but it's not a huge deal. Schools will probably take into account that it was a dual enrollment class, and most schools weigh your recent grades more heavily than grades from your first college classes. And if it's only one class it shouldn't effect your GPA too drastically anyway.

Thanks rendal for your input. Do you know in which GPA category it was calculated in? I called to verify and was told it would only affect the "College/University GPA" but not the undergraduate GPA or the Cumulative GPA for example.

ADEA AADSAS calculates your GPA and reports it in a number of ways:
• BCP GPA: All undergraduate, graduate, and cumulative courses identified on your transcript as Biology,
Chemistry and Physics are used in computing this GPA.
• Science GPA: All undergraduate, graduate, and cumulative courses identified on your transcript as Biology,
Chemistry, Physics, Math and Other Science is used in computing this GPA.
• Non‐science GPA: All undergraduate, graduate, and cumulative courses not used in calculating the Science GPA
are used to compute this GPA.
• Undergraduate GPA: All courses for which undergraduate credit is received are used in computing this GPA.
• Graduate GPA: All courses for which graduate credit is received are used in computing this GPA.
• Cumulative GPA: All courses‐both undergraduate and graduate‐ are used to compute this GPA. (For most dental
school applicants who have not completed graduate courses, the overall GPA is the same as the Undergraduate
GPA).
• College/University GPAs: GPAs are reported for each college/university you have attended.

I wasn't aware that it doesn't calculate into your Undergraduate or Cumulative GPAs, I only assumed that it did for me. I had a 3.33 GPA throughout dual enrollment so it wasn't that huge of a difference from the GPAs at my other schools to notice that is wasn't factored in.

If AADSAS said that it isn't included in your total GPAs, then your only indication of the grade will be in your community college's GPA under the "GPAs per School" section.
