Hi all, I got a 3 on my AP Calculus AB exam in high school. Therefore, I am exempted from taking that class (calc 200) in college to fulfill my undergraduate degree requirements. However, should I consider taking the next level of the class during university? Or perhaps, taking calc 200 either way? I currently a 2nd year.

I placed out of calc and never retook it in college. You don't need it for the OAT, and as long as the optometry school you want to go to accepts the transfer credit, I don't see any need to take it. Check with prospective schools to see if they will accept AP credits. I know MCPHS only accepts 4 or 5s.
