Do many people not graduate college then go to med-school, or do they just graduate and take a year off? I am a Texas resident and want to go to TCOM but am curious of what most people do before they go to med-school... Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I think majority of people graduate from college before entering medical school. If you want to save time, you can goto combined degree where you can earn both medical degree and undergrad degree. I believe TCOM has the 7 year DO/BS program.

You need to get a BS/BA degree. You will be accepted into school without completing a degree ONLY if you have exceptional MCAT scores and GPA. TCOM is one of the most competitive DO schools in the nation, however.

There is a very high number of people who graduate college and take a year off, but there are also many who enter medical school immediately after graduating.
