Hi guys I attended a community college my senior year in high school, and then went on to another college for 4 years. During those four years i went back to the community college for a CNA course. It was only a month long, but on the AACOM should i list that community college twice? Or once? Because they ask for how long you attended and I don't know what to do.

If I were you I would save yourself the headache & not list the course at all. I never listed the one I took & never had a problem. The only way I think that you should definitely list it is if you studied NURSING while at the ju-co. However, it sounds like you had just time senior year of HS to try to get ahead, so I would not list it at all. Trust me, you should not have any problems.

Definately don't leave out the course. That is against their policy.

I was wondering the same thing, though. I took two classes at a CC during two summers, so it looks like I attended that CC for 2 full years. Last year they had a box that you could check that said, "Summer Only" but omitted it this year for some reason. Let us know what they say when you call them. Thanks!

Let me restate my position...put everything on your AACOMAS that you got CREDIT for. I did not get college credit for taking that class (and it wasn't graded) so it was completely not necessary. If you did not get credit for the class you do not need to put it on your app.

cut and paste from the current AACOMAS application. This can be found under
Academic history->coursework->INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS SECTION

Enter all course work. Every course taken must be listed; even those courses not part of a program and not toward a degree. Failure to list every course taken could result in a violation of your application agreement, and your designated colleges being notified. Courses repeated for academic improvement or grade change must be listed each time taken.
