Is anyone applying to Colorado or know anyone who got in and what their stats were?

Colorado is pretty in-state friendly. Unless you're from there or the surrounding region, I wouldn't try. The stats were pretty competitive from what I remember.

I'm applying there, haven't heard anything as of this evening though other than a receipt of application notification (3rd batch).

It is uber-competitive OOS, and relatively non-competitive in-state. I believe that almost 30% of in state applicants get accepted. I personally know a good handful of people who got in this last cycle from in state with far less than stellar stats. It seems as if a high GPA (3.7+) cancels out a lower DAT (19 or less) better than a high DAT cancels out a lower GPA, which works against me.

Did your email come directly from Barbara's address?

No, it came from Dr. Randy Kluender (at a more generic-looking admissions email address).

And I should clarify, it was only in response to my AADSAS app, I have done no secondary for CO as of yet.

I have been told they will begin reviewing applications after the new class starts next week, giving priority to strong in-state applicants first.

I applied! One of my top schools so FINGERS CROSSED. I know someone who applied two years ago- had a 17 aa but was extremely well rounded so stats aren't everything. I also know someone who applied last year with a 21aa and a great GPA so it just depends. Keep in mind they were both OOS.

I haven't heard anything besides the fact that my application was received either.

Were all your LORs in when you received your email? I submitted my AADSAS but not all my LORs are in yet....maybe this is why CU hasn't emailed??

I am an in-state, third batcher and also received an email from Randy Kluender informing me that they have received my app. No other news yet =/

3 of 4 were in. I *think* CO only requires three, so it was probably complete. (I'd have to double check that, though.)

Correct. Either a committee OR two science letters and one non-science, employer, or dentist.
