Hi, I was turned on to this school by a friend. I have done some research and it sounds like a great school. How many out of staters do they tend to take? I live in a WICHE state (CA), but I get the feeling it is mostly for Colorado residents. Is it worth applying?

Even though you live in a WICHE state, you do not qualify as a WICHE student. California only accepts students, doesn't give them out. There are 5 dental schools in CA, so you have a great shot of getting into one of them. For those of us that do not have a public dental school in our home state (me), Colorado is great for WICHE. I believe they accept the highest amount of WICHE students with 25% of their class (~12 seats) reserved for us!

If you don't mind me asking, what is WICHE? I live in Illinois and I have never heard of WICHE...hmm... 😕

I applied to Colorado anyway. I am in Texas. Interested in the possibility of experiencing these "seasons" that i hear so much about.... 🙂

don't bother applying to colorado unless you are either wiche or a colorado resident with at least a 3.6 gpa. They are very picky.
