I really wish all schools would call to notify of acceptance. It's a bit more personal and exciting than receiving an email or letter. But maybe after years of having people scream in their ears, some adcoms decided to switch to other forms of communication in order to prevent further hearing loss.

When is the letter dated and how far are y ou from CO?? I'm still crossing my fingers for a waitlist letter and not a rejection.

still nothing for me... i've been told that i am on the alternate list for the dvm/phd program, but am getting more and more unsure each passing day without an actual letter. should i call if nothing comes by friday? i'm worried that i'll be rejected from the dvm program and that will take me off the other alternate list. any words of advice from someone who has been in a similar position?

Yeah, I'm in Illinois...and still nothing, so if nothing by tomorrow then whatever, I didn't want to pay $40,000 a year anyway 😛

seriously... even if i do get accepted out of state... probably won't go there because it's all on me!

on their website all schools should have a status page of whether or not they've offered interviews to people yet or rejected or accepted anybody, so we don't have to come here and freak out. it wouldn't be hard to post a brief update on their websites for current applicants saying that they've sent out stuff or they hope to send it out next week, etc. GRRRR i feel so ignored 🙁

I found out a friend of mine (out of state) got in today-she said she found out by e-mail last week and then recieved her other stuff by snail-mail. So does that mean everyone who was accepted recieved an e-mail, while wait-list/alt.s only recieved snail-mail?

My girlfriend received an email, as well as a call from the dean and a letter via snail mail. So I guess it could be any of the above, I suppose.

I got an email from Colorado that says the last of the letters were sent out this past Friday. So, you should hear this week if you havent already. I don't know if any of these letters included acceptances or wait-list notifications though...

I don't know, it didn't really do anything for me to get "your application is complete" emails. Also, they're letting us know relatively early. Some people have to wait until April 1...

woo hoo! i finally got a freaking answer from them! its a rejection letter but at this point i don't really care... i'm just glad that i don't have to check my email every 30 minutes with false hopes... 🙄
