Columbia $500 Deposit?

In that letter sent with our acceptance they stated that a $500 deposit was to be sent by May 1 to "hold our place in the class", this would be in addition to the $1000 sent Jan 15th. Anyone know anything about this??

i was going to ask the same question. Does anyone know to where and by when we need to send the $500 deposit?

sure. make your check payable to columbia university. send your check to dr. mcmanus, and the address is his office. the deadline is sometime in may.
