Columbia and NYU application question

To those who have submitted applications to Columbia or NYU, I am curious if you received any form of confirmation email once your application was complete. By application status has been complete since the end of November, but I have yet to receive any type of email from either school. If anyone has applied...have you received any emails since your application was completed?

so according to Columbia there were "technical glitches" from late Sept to early Nov, so that my online application was complete but they hadn't attached my GRE scores and college transcripts.
finally, I emailed the admissions office on Nov 3rd and they updated the application website and told me everything was indeed complete.
not a peep since then....they say early March for decisions
