Has anyone been able to get in contact with Admissions regarding submitting an additional LOR. They seem impossible to reach. The website says “directly mailed to us” but not necessarily sure if email is fine. Would they want their LOR mailed to the office? Does anyone have experience maybe from the years before?

‘Directly mailed’ usually means routing by U.S. mail.

I was told that the general admissions email is not frequently monitored - the reason for extremely delayed or no responses. Additionally, if your letter of recommendation is sent via USPS certified mail (online tracking and signature required when delivered), it should only take a few days to reach their office. I had to go this route to send a document to a different school. Good luck to you with either delivery option chosen!

Which email?

Click on the AADSAS 'Program Materials' and see the email that Columbia has listed on their page. I emailed them in May and they responded telling me to send my recommendation letter to that email once my application was verified.

It doesn't matter if you got a December interview. You'll be considered for admission day. Earlier doesn't mean better.
