Hello,

I tried to do a search on Columbia's new curriculum changes that are coming this next year, but could not find anything.

Can someone who either attends Columbia right now or interviewed here remind me of their new curriculum changes? If I remember correctly, they are trying to get students to clinic earlier.

Also, for current Columbia students, what are your perceptions of the dean who transferred from Maryland's dental school recently? During my interview, the students said he loves new technology/equipment and is trying to do the same things in Columbia as he did to Maryland's facilities.

From what I heard they're making it more clinically based. But I don't know how drastic the changes will be because I remember reading threads from 2003 and 2008 saying that they were gonna do it and there hasn't been that much change in clinic based on what first year students told me.
