Columbia email?

So i've read a few posts where people have said they've been contacted by Columbia...I haven't yet. Have a lot of people heard from Columbia? Should I be concerned that I haven't heard anything? I'm probably just being impatient but I thought i'd check things out...

my application was sent out on july 2nd and columbia emailed me july 9th (i think some ppl's weren't sent out yet and still got a reply).

it seems to me like some schools have contacted some ppl and not others, in my case NYU and WVU for example. i think it all depends on when the schools receive your application and when the next 'e-mailing' is.

Wow you heard from them so quickly, maybe i should be worried...my application was sent out June 4th! I guess there's no harm in emailing them about this. Thanks for your response
