Even though I mailed my application fee of $75 to Columbia on October 8,08, I got an email today saying that their records show that I may have not paid it but if I have to disregard the message. I am confused since it has been 4 months since my mailing date so their records should have been updated...I am worried that my fee may have been stolen on the way😡 so I will confirm with them tomorrow....anyway my question is..If in the case that they dont actually have my fee, would it make sense to continue with the application (i have not received an interview with them) at this point in the cycle as I heard that they may have stopped sending out interview offers...

I got the same email and I mailed my fee in September.

The email says
"If the fee has already been paid, please disregard this notice." By checking with them, you are basically telling them that you can not follow directions.

I got the same email and replied.

It said their records show its OVERDUE. With that in mind, it's rational person to reply. If it didn't say OVERDUE then I wouldn't reply.

I considered the "if you already paid it please disregard" as a waiver for people who paid within the last couple weeks and haven't been processed yet.

yes...there is nothing here about me not understanding directions since 4yrs of university have taught me just that...there is a way of sending out an email...take for example the recent BU email which actually indicated to disregard mail that if you had sent your fee after X date...now 4 months after sending the fee is worrisome...

I sent the fee back in September and then interviewed in October. I was accepted in December. Even after being accepted, I also received this Email. So, most likely, disregard it.
