columbia interview - Jan 23rd

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I interviewed on December 18 and didn't hear back until January 26th, which was a week or two after they said we'd hear back. So there's no need to worry yet.

Had the same interview day and haven't received anything yet. They said we would not get any responses until at the earliest mid-Feb. so I guess we still have a few days to hear back before it gets late. Good luck.

I interviewed last week and I think they were saying we might hear back anywhere from next week to sometime in march. It was also a little disheartening that they were more or less saying we were all interviewing for wait list spots, but oh well. =(

THis maybe a bad news. A girl who had the interview in Jan 23rd already got her acceptance letter in Feb 4th. I saw her on columbia facebook. Gosh, we need some feedback, not just ignore us like that. Even a rejection, so we dont have to wait, wait and wait.

I interviewed on Jan 23rd

Got waitlisted 🙁

what state do u live achilles? do you think your interview went well?

Live in NY

Interview went GREAT, but I'm sure my lower GPA hurt me with the adcoms. DAT and grad GPA and interview most likely helped me. But its a game of inches.

I saw on predents website that there were a alot of students got accepted to Columbia, but about 5 students changed their status to "attending" is this because they want to attend their home state's school or after they got accepted, they didnt bother to visit predent, or studentdoctor.net anymore.

I don't really know if I should be posting this, but, as one of the people who've been accepted and haven't changed my status to attending, my reason is that I'm still waiting to hear back from other schools before I decide. I was hoping for Harvard but just got waitlisted yesterday.. I still have two interviews, four schools I'm waitlisted at, and a school that hasn't responded either way after the interview, so I didn't want to commit just yet. Although I did send in my deposit to Columbia.
