I just emailed them back.. were we supposed to email in a specific format? It didnt' really say in the email, but I just kept the request short..

also, it says that travel info for your reference is enclosed.. but my email had no attachments. am i missing something?
 
I emailed them yesterday requesting September 10th, got an email back 3 hours later saying interviews don't start until September 17th, so I sent them an email back asking for September 17th... no reply yet

Hopefully this means they're working some confirmation bureaucracy and I'm getting that date, who knows *shrug*

ah1989, I didn't get the supposedly attached "travel info" either.
 
yeah no response to me either, but i did just email today haha... i'm hoping i get the date i requested too! what dates are you guys hoping for?

did anyone get the travel info they supposedly attached? if so, could you share what it said/if it was useful?

one more q: did you guys hear from columbia yesterday about interviews? I'm trying to figure out whether this was the first batch of invites..
 
hey everyone, i got it yesterday as well. do you guys think mid to late october is too late to interview and still be considered for december 1st?
 
i haven't gotten a response from them yet but i requested a mid-october date. have you heard anything? oh also, i saw in some older threads that they do a dinner the night before. anyone heard about this?

I requested a late october date... I heard it doesn't really matter when as long as it's before december 1st, that way they have all components of your app (interview included) ready to be reviewed when they make a decision. I could be wrong, but that's what I heard from a current student at cdm.

has anyone heard back about the interview request, or are we still waiting?
 
Hey just wanted to know what mailing date you guys were in?..it seemed to me that Columbia was moving a little slow...but just curious i submitted mid july mailed later in july

They didn't say anything except: "Interview dates are limited and assigned on a first come-first served basis. Interviews are held on Fridays only."

I just picked a random friday that worked for me and requested it.. they didn't specify when they start/stop

also, does anyone have that supposedly attached travel info? There were no attachments to my email. 😕
 
As I said above, Diana told me interviews start on the 17th. By the time I found that out it was already filled. I requested the next available Friday which was the 24th. I imagine that's filled up too by now.
 
Anyone want to share a hotel for 24th? I will be arriving at NY on Thursday night to sleep, then go to interview on Friday morning 🙂

I responded to you about this in a different thread, but in case you don't see it🙂:

I never received an "app complete" email or anything on AADSAS from Columbia. The first I heard from them was an interview invite... was that how it was for everyone else?

When did you guys complete your application??? I completed mine at the start of august (fees and all) so when do you think I will hear from them??
My AADSAS applciation status says under review 🙁

That's wierd. They still have not received my DAT scores or fees, but my AADSAS status shows complete.

I would if I weren't staying with my friend in Brooklyn, it's going be a LONG trek up North in the morning... probably have to start at 6 AM or something, lol
