Hi. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and am trying to decide between the Columbia Review Home-Study Program and the Princeton Review for the April MCAT. I took the MCAT 7 years ago, averaged double digits, but decided to pursue other ventures. Now I am finally ready for med school. I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone who has recently taken either program in the Bay Area. Thanks

Vinod

I have taken both the Kaplan and Princeton Review courses in the New York area and I have found the PR review far superior. The book materials are clearer and they have very good instructors.

Best of luck on whatever course you take!

I took the Princeton course this past summer for the August 2000 MCATs, and my MCAT score went down by 4 points down to a 23, I just didn't think it was worth it, I got a 27 the first time by just studying by myself for 2 months straight with a MCAT review book and my college textbooks
