I forgot if I asked about an email being sent out.....

I didn't get an email invite either 🙁

I did receive an email asking me to fill out the secondary online on July 14th. I think my AMCAS was processed on like June 16th or something.

Sunsweet- Have you called to see if they will send out emails/invites or if they are screening this year? I called a while ago and asked about screening. They said they weren't screening, but they were sending out invites. I still have not got one, like you.

Has ANYONE called Columbia to see if they sent out emails?

Thats weird, I was under the impression that they weren't sending out invites at all...from what I've gathered on this forum, no one here seems to have gotten one. I didn't call them but other people that did were told to just fill out the secondary and not wait for an invite. 😕 it really doesnt matter, I guess. Just send it in 👍

did you start the secondary before you got that email? Because they send out an email after you start the secondary that kind of sounds like an invite but its really not.

I had not started the secondary before I got the email invite. I did not know it was online until the email told me to go onto the website. Here is the email I received:

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for applying to the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. We invite you to fill out our secondary application which can be found on our website. You can reach it by pointing to www.columbia.edu and linking to the Medical Center which can be found on the left hand side of the Columbia homepage. From there please follow the prompts for education and the application process.

We ask that you please submit your secondary application within two weeks. All supporting materials must be received in our office by December 15, 2004 and mailed to: Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, 630 West 168th Street, Box 41, New York, NY 10032.

Thank you.
