Columbia University Advanced Standing

Hi everyone

Since we all know the Advanced Standing program at the Columbia University is of 2.5 years. Is it worth the extra money?? I mean as compared to 2 ears programs we still have to pay extra fr one semester. Does anyone have any idea about the probability of getting graduate assistantship?

seats depend on availability based on regular DDS drop-outs. in, 2009 - 5.

sorry we digressed.

I dont think money should be such a big issue.
there are many 2 yr programs that I would pass over to go to columbia.

Columbia usually accepts not more than 5 students per year - All scoring in mid or high 90's in NBDE part 1... Amazing school ; but very hard to get in.

Boss !! If I were you and I am getting an offer from Columbia...and deciding against it because of an extra semeter......I would have about 50-60 dentists here who would mark me as the greatest fool living !!! If you know what I mean !!!

Man..!!! it just doesn't matter... U can really boast that you have graduated from Columbia !!! and YES.. its too goddamn hard just to get an interview..let alone accetance!!!
