Anyone know anything about the program at Drs. Hospital. I'm specifically loooking for a solid program where I can do both the Traditional Internship year as well as the EM or Surg. residency.

Any comment on the residency program itself or the specialized internship year would be greatly appreciated.

A second year at my school said his brother did his EM residency there and loved it.

Most all DO programs are now linked in EM and surgery. You might have a difficult time if you go in as a rotator and try to find a PGY-2 contract, I did what you are thinking about doing but it much easier to match in to a linked program.
Look at UMDNJ in Stratford, we have a great EM program and Surgery Residency. I rotated at Doctors for 3rd and 4th year of medical school, so I know both programs well, both EM program directors at Doctors and UMDNJ are amazing, and both programs have good and bad points.

Hmmm! My wife is not too keen on NJ. I wanted to do my third year there simply for the experience, but I couldn't ask my wife to live in Jersey with a new baby in town. So, what are some of the good and bad with Drs. (PS. she really doesn't want to live in OH either but I'm pretty dedicated to AOA programs and they all happed to be in the NE. WTF!)
