I've been following all the threads on Combank, but haven't heard too much from people who actually subscribed to the service.

I am about 3/4 of the way finished with the Qbank and have found it to be very helpful and similar to what I am used to seeing on COMLEX exams. The site was recommended to me by a friend who had failed COMLEX level 3 and thought the COMBANK stuff was very similar to what he had seen on the previous two tests. In fact, he even recognized a couple of the questions. He ended up getting 59% on COMBANK and then got an 82 (two-digit) on COMLEX.

Like I said, I take my test in two weeks so I'll know first-hand then but I've been really happy and would highly recommend the question bank. The medical ethics and OMM sections are especially good. Apparently they will refund your subscription fee if you don't pass the test too.

Hello,

Hoping to get some feedback on Combank. Any advice, opinions, or reviews would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andrew

I used it. I thought it was ok, but not super. There were multiple misspellings and grammar errors. The content was good, but I was left wanting more questions. I felt that, for the money there should have been more. That said, I used it and did very well on the exam. I also used Exam Master, but that was free through my school. Good luck on the exam.

Cheers!

Apasetti,

I agree with you...found some spelling errors and minor stuff but overall I thought the content and format was awesome. I did very well on the test and attribute my score to taking these exams. I used combank for questions and went through crush...these were my only two resources. My score was drastically improved over my step 1. If they keep adding questions, I think this will be much better than anything else out there.

Interesting. You were preparing for the COMLEX Level 2 in February 2008 but you were a Resident in 2007? In the same program as the founder of COMBANK? Corresponds well with the PGY-3 status of the founder.. but I don't understand how you're taking Level II after starting residency. Is this something that West Penn allows? Sounds like you and liverwires are the same people and are owners of combank... please refrain from using our trusted forum for self promotion http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?p=7556528#post7556528
