When I interviewed once a guy was telling me that he had been in a BS/DO program somewhere and hated it. I am simply curious- does anyone know which DO schools offer this?

Thanks.

I applied to the 7-year B.S./D.O. programs through SUNY New Paltz and NYIT (one of them is through NYCOM). I got into both, but decided to do it on my own.

COMP just started a program (or it existed for a while?) that I read about ... with a couple of schools... pretty much 7 year BS/DO program but the first 3 years are not on campus since we only have Grad level programs.

I seem to remember something about UMDNJ having a program like that...although it may be NYCOM I'm thinking of for some reason...anatomy and physio has left me more fried that usual.
I do know MSU has a med scholars program that is unlinked between a BS/BA and a DO degree. From what I understand, it's the full 8 yrs as you complete your bachelors and then apply to COM. I know it's refered to on our website (http://www.com.msu.edu/) Please go there and get the facts. Iserson's pre-med book was helpful when I applied and I think it pointed out those programs.
I hope this helps in some way. 👍 Off to get more physio under my belt before I begin to fall behind. Best of luck!!

UNECOM has this as well, with the BS being through the Univeristy of MAine, the University of New England, and Utica College. Below is a link that should take you there.
