I cant find the current situation about the combined MD/DO match by using google. Anyone know what exactly is happening in 2015. Will there be one match for both MD and DO. Will you be able to only take USMLE and not COMLEX. Will there be more residencies for DO students.

As the above person said, the terms of the merger were not accepted by the AOA. From my understanding, they door is open for potential future conversion but nothing is actively being done at the moment. The AOA never was considering dropping the COMLEX - that will not happen in our time that is for sure. DO residencies are being slowly added but nowhere even remotely close to supplying positions for all graduates. That couldn't theoretically happen for like 10+ years if there even was hypothetically funding for it.
