hey guys--what's the nicest hospital you have interviewed at for residency with respect to nicest call rooms, comfy resident lounge, best delivery suites, etc. ???

HOLY COW, I just interviewed at Brown (Women and Infants), and I felt like I was at the freaking Waldorf Astoria - gorgeous, new hospital, with pristine L&D, floors, even their own mini-ER. Doctors' lounge included leather recliners, and was located next to a tiny gym, where fetal heart strip monitors from L&D were being displayed in front of the treadmills. The residents also said that ancillary services were great (virtually no blood draws/IV's), nurses are nice, TONS of deliveries/cases, with the residents serving as primary surgeons from day one of internship, etc.

Would be my #1 without a doubt, except for the Providence location

I completely argree with NYC girl about Brown - it's been my number 1 choice since I did a sub-I there!

I did just interview at Lehigh Valley in PA and let me tell you, the hospital is friggin gorgeous. They are just pouring money into the place. I was very impressed - I just interviewed there to visit some friends (ok, chase a hot boy, but isn't that part of this process?) and now it's a close second to Brown.
