My feet have been getting very sore from walking around in uncomfortable shoes, anyone have some suggestions for some comfortable ones that are still at an affordable price? Preferrably ones that come in a brown color. Also looking for men's shoes but feel free to suggest women's shoes as well for other people who might be viewing.

9/10 Humble brag. I like it

Lmao I'm being totally serious here. I've realized the bottoms of my feet have been feeling sore lately and I'm pretty sure it's from my cheap $30 dress shoes I bought 😛... I guess you get what you pay for. I never had trouble wearing them for an hour or two but for 5 to 6 hours it gets rough.

Solid color Dr. Martens. Casual and durable enough to wear as your only interview shoes from flights to suit and tie time.

Check out Vionic shoes. I just got some; they have built in orthotics and really helped my posture and unequal weight distribution across my feet that was causing numbness. They have sneakers but also a formal line of men’s shoes

Get fitted for some proper dress shoes. Definitely a little on the spendier side, but Allen Edmonds has a 2 for $250 seconds deal, and those pairs will last for years with proper upkeep and care. Once broken in, they are really quite comfortable.

Once you've got your size down you can also get pairs like new for under $100 on ebay.

Oof I know it's a long term investment but I definitely can't afford to spend 250 right now, especially mid interview season.

Was initially looking to spend like ~60 but I'm noticing most of the ones recommended here are around ~80 on Amazon so probably gonna go with one of those options and hope they hold out well.

For what it's worth, the sizing and ebay advice works for most brands, so you'd probably still be able to save a hefty chunk of change.

Black Allen Edmonds Fifth/Park Avenues unless you are wearing a light gray, taupe, or hunter green suit, which you’re not. People who notice these shoes really notice.

Edit: Can find lightly used on Ebay for 1/5 retail price.

Concur with Rockport and Ecco, I currently have a pair of Allen Edmonds that are extremely comfortable, but if you buy AE's you need to try them on as some of the styles are NOT comfortable.
