The NBDE Part 1 in written/paper form will be available one last time on December 11, 2006 (application deadline is in October 2006). After this session, the written/paper form will no longer be available. All NBDE Part 1 will be on the computer.

At any rate, for the computer NBDE Part 1, I believe you'll receive your scores approximately 3 - 4 weeks after the exam.

Funny how all the standardized tests are going computer and adaptive. 😕

You know how much money places like Prometric and Pearson Vue testing centers are raking in? Should've bought some of their stocks. 😀

Hi guys, i haven't taken the boards yet, was just wondering about how many quesitons out of 400 you have to get right to get a 90 percentile. I heard something like about 75% of the questions right. Thanks

...Microbiology made ridiculously simple (I memorized the chapter summary of each chapter which was no easy task),...

Is that the same as "Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple, Edition 3 (Paperback)
by Mark Gladwin, Bill Trattler"?????

anyone????

Not sure if anyone mentioned released boards. These are a great source. I had questions on my exam that were word for word from old exams--and some of these I surely would have missed if I hadn't studied them. Decks are also good. A big part of doing well on boards in learning the material as you take the classes. If you fart around and "just get by" through all the classes, no way you can learn all the stuff in just a month or so. The study time should be time to refresh some of the details you may have forgotten--takes much less time to relearn something that try and figure it out for the first time.

Would anyone who took the new part I format like to update?
