Never used it. I don't think tutoring is particularly useful because it often times turns into passive learning. I.e., your tutor will just read stuff to you and research shows us that this is a largely ineffective way to form new memories and relationships in information. Since you seem concerned about studying I'll give you my shpeal that I give to every DO student for COMLEX studying:
Resources:
UWORLD
SketchyMedical (+others if you like them)
Pathoma
OMG OMT
Setup:
-40Q random per day in UWorld. WRITE OUT EXPLANATIONS in a journal. Review this journal when you have downtime, sit on the toilet, etc.
-First Aid is overrated and Uworld >>>>>> FA
-Sketchy for micro, +/- for other subjects if you find it useful
-Pathoma for all pathology
-OMG OMT for the ~2-3 weeks you want to hone in on the OMM content
This is more than sufficient and also doesn't require you to shell out $$ every time you meet with a tutor. Again, tutoring and boards studying (which by contrast should be active learning) are kind of incompatible with one another.
