Step I COMLEX 3 before starting internship

I am starting a D.O internship in Pennsylvania in July and heard that it was OK to take the COMLEX 3 before starting internship there. It's offered this June and I was thinking about taking it.
I want to get it out of the way.

Any reason why do you think I should take it this June or any reason why I shouldn't ???

Hi,

I took it back in December. On the application, it stated that I needed to be in my residency already. I also needed my Program Director's signature. Double check with NBOME though, as there have been some changes, such as the computerized version being offered, starting this summer.

According to the NBOME, you can't take the COMLEX 3 until you've completed 6 months of your intership.
