Hola amigos and amigas! Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

Is it true that the COMLEX 1 is:
1) Neuro (anatomy, viscerosomatics, etc)
2) MSK (with Chapman points)
3) Micro and antibiotics
4) Pharm with emphasis on autonomics and pharmacology first aid chapter.
5) OMM
6) OBGYN
7) Everything else

Has this been most people’s experiences? Do not hesitate to contribute, all input is valuable.

Lastly, is combank necessary to get the feel of questions or is UWorld enough?

Thank you! May the force be with you

I haven’t taken comlex but I’ve taken comsae twice, though I guess you’ve probably taken it at least once, also.

If you’re asking if those points are high yeild, yes. But no ones gonna be able to give you a ranking.

Uworld/FA/pathoma should be more than enough for non-OMM comlex.

For the OMM portion (SUPER important!) I suggest going through Savarese once to get a good OMM baseline. This is NOT enough. The next thing you should do is go to combank, set the filter for OMM-only questions, and pound those out. Combank’s OMM questions are amazing, and make sure you really know the explanations, ESPECIALLY the counterstrain points and vicerosomatics!

I was consistently at a “nearly failing” level of OMM for my first two years of school, despite doing well in everything else. However, after 4 days of Savarese and crushing combank, I got a nearly perfect score on the notoriously difficult OMM shelf exam.
