OK, i just did a bunch of practice q's and there are some which i cannot find the answers to, could someone please help??? answers to any of these would be appreciated

what is cephalgia fugax? what's a muscle contraction headache?

what the heck is a molding technique (it's apparently a cranial technique)

person has an allergic rash on anterior shin--this apparently correlates with a trophic dysfunction at L4-L5

ok another one was pers with an ankle strain, has pain BELOW ATF...in the sinus tarsi (i don't know what that is)...and the trigger point for this pain is at extensor digitorum brevis???

has anyone heard of Williams flexion exercises, wtf are they???

*******
either i didn't study well enough or i didn't study well enough! +pissed+ i was completely taken aback by these...

ok some of these i know some i dont...
molding tech : they take your head and squeeze it apparently...or some such.. essentially its a direct pressure technique for sutures...bad idea in any case of cranial trauma
williams flexion excersizes : doesnt matter what they are... avoid them in things like spinolysthesis(you need to avoid flexion excersizes beacuse they induce further slippage... however you have to remember that its EXTENTION that makes the pain itself (rather than the pathology, worse)

Ok this one you have to use your latin, you took that in med school right? :meanie: anyway sinus tarsi is a bowl like space on the tarsal bone for the insertion of stuff.... the next thing you have to know is how trigger points work : they produce pain somewhere else when pressed... this pain usually caused tightness at the muscle or point youre pressing... its different from chapmans points in that chapmans dont induce pain... so anyway , the EDB originates within the sinus tarsi... so not knowing other choices, its a decent one...

thats a tention headache i think

the rash: know your dermatomes! things like rashes are often dermatome related... so its like ok... since all skin is innervated by particular dermatomes, what area of the spine would have a refered symptom

thanks, i was sorta obsessing over these.
good luck tomorrow!!!
