Comlex II- what books/qbanks are you using

Hello fellow comlexers,

About 1 month away from Comlex and just starting to buckle down and study. Currently using Secrets, Simmons and Combank. Ordered UW but abandoned it after 2 months since it seemed like overkill. I was just wondering what other people are using for this POS test

Boards and Wards, UW and COMBANK. Goljan MP3s. My test is coming up next week:
USMLE on Tuesday, COMLEX on Thursday and PE on Saturday. UW may be "overkill" but it is an excellent learning tool.

UW is overkill & a waste of time for the COMLEX> You should go thru it but only after taking the COMLEX.
My recommendations would be

1. FA (The BIBLE.....or Quran or Torah 🙂)
   
2. B&W (Good for Outpt/FM, Peds, trauma)
   
3. Secrets (really good for the drugs/bugs charts, OB-GYN & Peds)
4. OMT Review by Savarese
   
5. COMBANK
6. COMSAE

COMBANK is much more representative of the COMLEX from what I've heard. I'll update this after next week

Took step 2 about 2 months ago, but to prepare I started to do UWorld, then after a few hundred questions decided it was a waste of time. So I just read Crush step 2 and Severece. Remember this is the Comlex, the questions will be short and you will either have known the answer since MS1 year or you will have no idea what the question is asking.

I used Kaplan Q-bank and I really liked it. I was only able to get through about 30% of it. I just took the test yesterday and I have no regrets about using Kaplan. However, I honestly didn't even know about COMBANK. It sounds great though.

I took the COMLEX just a couple of days ago. There were several questions on my test that were very similar if not exactly the same as some from the COMBANK. However, most of the questions on the actual test were significantly longer than the questions in COMBANK. I used UW and COMBANK both and if I could go over and do it again, I would do the same thing, but if all I needed to do is pass the COMLEX or get an average on it and had to pick between COMBANK and UW, I would definitely pick COMBANK. Hope this helps!

I would have read Savarese two more times. The OMM is pretty rough on the COMLEX II.
