Anybody know if those online practice COMLEX exams on the NBOME site are similar to the real deal?

Dont even bother trying to complete those tests. The questions are so random that they will only scatter your focus.

Fellas, if its the sample test on the NBOME then you should bet all your pennies that its similar (in format) to the real one.

Refer to my previous comment for the impracticality of using these tests as a guide for studying.

what do you mean? i took it a while back ago. i thought it was a nice simulator. it's definately not good for a systems-based review that's for sure.

The sample exams on the site are not similar to the real deal-I would not use them b/c they do not have explanations. The real test is much more vague and poorly written (sorry to break the news). If you do those sample tests you'll have a false sense of security.

I thought the NBOME practice tests were super easy compared to the real deal. I also thought the real deal was much more vague with poorly written questions, and poor pictures. I would just use the practice tests to get an idea of how questions are asked, but don't depend on what score you get on the practice test to gauge how you might do on the real test.

I don't get why they give these samples if the setup & questions are not indicative of the real thing....doesn't make sense to me.
