Comlex step II

I was recently told that some of the questions on Comlex Step II has terminology and knowledge from random journals. I heard that reading these journals is a necessity in order to do well on the exam. I'm not sure what this person is talking about and even if this is true. Has anyone who took the exam know anything about confusing terminology questions on Comlex Step II.
Also, as a side note: what are good books to use for the OMM questions?
