Commissioned report with no authorship?

I'm co-writing a commissioned report (which will be blind peer-reviewed) for a government agency with my PI. It will be made available online, but authorship isn't indicated on the report or elsewhere. Would this NOT be something to include on a CV, since the authorship isn't indicated on the report? 😕

This seems worth finding a place for.

Many people have a separate section for "Technical Reports" or things of that nature, so this might be appropriate to include there - people frequently do that if they are involved in writing elaborate scoring manuals, or things of that nature. If it is published online, it could also very well be included under a general publications section.

Are you sure authorship won't be indicated anywhere? That seems an odd choice, especially for a government agency. Usually they will at least have authors listed on the website somewhere.

From the comission:

"Authorship: This document will become the property of the [government department]. As such, no single person or organizational entity will be cited as author or claim authorship of this document. [Department] will reserve the right to publish and disseminate the completed paper as it sees fit. The primary writer of this piece will receive, in addition to an honorarium, a letter documenting her or his services as a consultant to [department] on this project from the [department] Director."


So I guess I can't cite it on my CV? Oh, well, the comission/honorium was nice, regardless.
