So one of the questions on the application for a committee letter asks: have you ever been subject to academic probation, conduct violations, etc. at university? Yes or No
I was put on residential probation at a different school due to an incident. It was freshman year; just trying to have some fun.
Would it be in my best interest saying no to this question? I don't want to have to explain this to the committee and I don't want it to influence the committee letter in any way and ruin my chances.
