committee packet for letters of rec

For my committee packet, my pre-health advisor (who's much more knowledgable about medical schools than she is about dental schools) says that I need to request -- from the pre-health office -- just one packet for TMDSAS / Texas schools, but one packet each for each of the AADSAS schools I'm applying?

Is this right? I thought we only need to submit 1 packet to AADSAS, who will then forward to the schools.

The committee letter should be sent directly to AADSAS. Only send to individual schools if they request it (which they prob won't b/c they would already have it from AADSAS).

Agreed. Only one packet gets sent to AADSAS. On the AADSAS application you can list your advisor as the recommender, at which point AADSAS sends the info to your advisor/prehealth dept, who then sends the committee packet to AADSAS.

Thank you! I didn't want to contradict my pre-health advisor, but I'll ask and let her know. 🙂
