Does anyone have a list of the common trig values we should know for the DAT?? The first time I took the test it seemed like a quarter of my questions required me to know crazy trig values.

I would appreciate any help! :)

Just caught an error on that link.

Tan(a-b)= ?
tan(a)+tan(b)/1+tan(a)•tan(b)

and not

Tan(a-b)= ?
tan(a)+tan(b)/1-tan(a)•tan(b)

The trig formulas I plan on knowing for the DAT are: pythagorean identities, sum/difference formulas, double angle formulas, basic identities (sec = 1/cos, etc.), law of sines, and law of cosines.

For geometry, memorize the big 3 dimensional formulas: cylinder, pyramid, sphere, etc.
Also, I heard that circle formula, ellipse formula, and parabola formula may be on there.

So, don't memorize everything, but rather the commonly tested ones.
