Hey optho people..I was recently in car accident and was hit on the face with a rock...had orbital fracture and subsequent repair. My vision in the right eye is decreased...opthomologist said I have commotio retinae and said it should resolve in 6 weeks but there is nothing else to do but wait...its been 12 days since the accident and 9 days since sugery and my vision is still fuzzy in the right eye and am getting nervous about my vision.
My questions are: In your experience, when can I expect to have signficant improvement in my vision? Does it usually take the full 6 weeks? Longer? Is there sequelae frome this? Please share your knowledge/experiences..thanks
