Curiosity
After having worked hard in my internship, 'contacts' have helped to get me into an anesthesia program although far from prestige. Its a community hospital but provides great learning experince do to much level-1 trauma.
Assuming the training is good, im curious what are the limiting factors once trying to find a job? Prestige of a program vs. hardwork and play of 'contacts'
Appreciate any insight.

Ask the CA-3's what kind of jobs they have lined up next year. Of course the market may change in 3 years but I haven't found a reliable psychic yet.

Well appreciate you input.
Take it that connections are key...but one never knows the future
Going to work my az off and try to beat some of you brainiancs out (ones who score those 260 on boards)
Anyways the program I have is great for learning exp although crappy surrounds. Gun shot and stab wounds daily which will train well in critical care. Then later go find a cushioned job in private practice.
For all the brainiac maniacs go easy on the boards.
Good luck to those applying!
