But not after that be included in activities. Spent quite sometime at Ronald McDonald's and mission trip to Philly to help improve a neighborhood - fixing houses, repainting etc.

A mission trip in high school doesn’t seem like a significant activity to me.

Unless you are talking Eagle Scout or similar project, not really. If you continued after you graduated from high school, yes, but your post-high school hours would likely be considered. There's more you can do when you reach legal autonomy.

Your HS service got you into college... you need service after HS to get you into med school.
