hi

i'll be going to ICO this year...i plan on commuting there since its like a 30-35 minute commute...but recently i've been thinking about commuting during winter and the traffic at that time.

since exams are 8 am sharp from what i have heard....what happens if someone is stuck in the snow or something?
do any current ICO students have any advice regarding this?

well, you have until 8:30 to get into the exam room, after that you would have to arrange to take it at another time. Just try to leave early if the weather if bad. For the record, ICO NEVER EVER closes for the weather. The only time we got out of class was when the church across the street burnt down and rained flaming debris everywhere.

thanks for replying...so basically it is possible to reschedule an exam if God forbids your late or sumthng right?

Right, however the retest could be written, depending upon the professor, and they may charge a fee for exams missed without an extenuating reason (such as terrible weather).

thanks for the info i was having a tough time figuring thngs out because ICO hasnt sent out any information regarding classes and schedules or anything...but i've decided to drive there...and if worse comes to worse i can crash at sumone's place thats closer to ICO during exam time!

^ Why not take the train?

But, oh well, one less person on the train mwahaha 😀

the train from my place will take longer...but hey its an option...

Charging a fee. Are you serious???

Yea, why not? If you miss an exam the school has to use considerable resources to write a new test, and provide a supervised venue to test you. It also discourages chronic misses... which I'ms sure people might otherwise take advantage of for the sake of buying more study time.

Honestly, it isn't a problem at all for the vast vast majority of students.
