hey guys,
what dat scores are considered competitive and would bank you interviews?

with a 4.0 gpa, would somewhere in the range of 18-20 for your average get you in? my situation is that i don't have much time to study over this summer, yet i must take the dat's. should i go ahead and take it if i can get around that range?

my volunteer experience is pretty solid, if that helps? 😳

thanks for the help.

With a 4.0, I think they will be expecting a higher score....18 might be on the low side of expectations and 19 or higher should be just fine.

agreed. they might think that your school inflates grades, so students will have good GPAs. IMO, that is why, there is the DAT - to standardize..

these averages are with the dat achiever. how does this compare to the real deal? it's harder i know, but should i expect a 19/20 if i'm getting 18-19 on the dat achiever?

don't expect anything. I mean the test is different for different people under different conditions. You can do better or worse. I think the worst thing is to go into the test thinking no matter what your score will be higher. Say you got an 18...just say that thats how you'll do on the real dat. Then if you do better you can celebrate. There are a few people out there that do the same on the practice tests and real tests.

with a 4.0 GPA, they will definitely be expecting higher scores (somewhere in 20's IMO). An 18 on DAT with a 4.0 GPA will definitely indicate presence of grade inflation at that school.
So study hard!
