lets give him the benefit of the doubt, some people want multiple sources for their questions. I will give my 2 cents from my research of the schools I KNOW ABOUT from my research, talking with alumni or students or just browsing on here and valuemd. Correct me if i am wrong current students or Carib experts.

1. SGU most expensive but great school, great facilites, great networking, great residencies.
2. Ross: Administration unorganized as heck last time i checked in, classes over crowded, rumors of high failure rate or over accepting students who wouldnt hack it in the first place, less desirable living conditions/
3 AUC Great campus and dorms location and conditions, last i heard is the owner is a greedy money hungry ##$# but aint all the caribs for profit. The living conditions top the list, but not as good as SGU or Ross in academics, residencies, clinicals, etc...
4 SABA I guess a little wonder, school in the middle of no where, conditions probably worse that that of Ross, but small class size eventhough most faculty seem to be from india and very few from US MD schools, very small faculty compared to the top3 and very primative facilities compared to the top3 but seems to place good residencies and have the lowest of failure rate percentagewise.

Now dont chew me up, anyone who has better feedback can add, edit or correct me from first hand experience, but lets please put the biases aside.

About the other schools, not enough is known about them and they are less caliber than the top4 so you shouldnt even consider them if you can get in the top4 which you shouldnt have a hard time to getting into at least one of them.

Regards.

I go to SGU and I'll say that the classes here are enormous. It's not "overcrowded" because there's plenty of space but we've got about 420 students/class which includes about 40 students from the previous year that are decelling.

AUC/Saba/SGU/Ross will all get you where you want to go. Ross apparently has some serious clinical overcrowding but is approved in all 50 states and has a lot of grads. AUC is also apparently a solid school as is Saba. There are serious differences between all 4 schools when you consider tuition, clinical years, living conditions on the island, etc but all will get you through. Some requiring a little more work on your part than the others. Plenty of threads on the topic here and at ValueMD

HELLO
you guys are all talking about the top 3 or 4 schools, but no one mentions the AUA (American university of Antigua)..it looks like a good school with great living conditions and it is affiliated with a lot of schools in the US, and it is a growing School, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANYONE INPUT ON THE AUA SCHOOL!!!!
THANKS...
