I've heard various comparisons of the DAT and Achiever, but none comparing the DAT and Kaplan's full length practice tests. Has anyone taken the DAT and used Kaplan's materials that can offer score comparisons? If so, please post. Even if you don't want to post your scores...numbers above or below what you were scoring would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi,
I took the classroom course, I did not fully utilize the resources they gave me. However, the score you have on the Kaplan practice tests should be good indication of how you will do on the DAT except the PAT section. The real PAT is much harder, so try to get more practice elsewhere. My friends they took all the practice exams and section exams as well, they do really well on most section all above 19, she think we over studied with Kaplan bc the biology part for the DAT is more general and not as specific as Kaplan's. However, if you take the course please take all the exams/anything they offer you...those can be very beneficial.🙂

I took Kaplan scored a 19 on their PAT and actually did better; 21. I looked at the released exam knowing the angles would be harder. That helped a lot.

Based off my kaplan instructor, your grades will fluctuate a little.

You could most likely expect these changes to your
Kaplan scores.

Sciences (easier than real dat add 1-2pts)
QC (same)
RC (Same)
PAT (harder, subtract 1-2pts)

Two questions: Were you referring to the released exam by the ADA? Also, you meant the sciences were harder than the real dat right? thanks.
