How would you compare the competitive level between Podiatry and Optometry? While there are different factors such as entrance exams, is one program more difficult to be accepted into? For example, I know there's a clear difference between Podiatry school and Dental school. (Dental school is more difficult).

without having applied to opt school, id still say podiatry is easier to get accepted into. podiatry is less popular and there is less competition, although standards seem to be rising each year.
i dont really see why this is very important however as they are very different fields

You can't really say dental school is harder than podiatry school unless you've been to both. They're very different disciplines. yes, dental school is more competitive to get into.. but that doesn't mean it's more challenging course work. It just means less people want to work with feet. (like me )
